The Fondren Gals

We know the Fondren family through the Krewe of Houmas that we photograph in Houma at Mardi Gras. Lauren — mom– wanted to get an updated photo of all of the girls together. Luckily we were blessed with an absolutely beautiful morning for the session. (a little chilly at first, but we all soon forgot that part, and then it began to warm up anyway.) Courtney, Julia, Grace and Eleanor were so much fun!! I had a blast taking these photos. And a little shout out to Titus as well for accompanying me to help – the girls loved him too. He was being such a goofball! It was so funny to watch the girls faces as we encountered a few true New Orleans characters as we roamed around. Priceless! haha! I love the way these turned out though, and I hope y’all love them too!! Enjoy!

Oh my goodness! Olivia is growing up way too fast — literally and figuratively. Every time I see her she gets taller! She’s still a little quiet and bashful — which makes me act goofy to try to get smiles out of her, and make sure she remembers me. In turn, she probably just thinks of me as ‘that crazy lady!’ :) Their Christmas card turned out so cute! I can’t wait to share!

We love Kristine, Joey, and Paxton! Kristine has helped transform our condo and the studio into beautiful spaces with her interior design knowledge. You can tell from how well put together they are for their photos that she’s great at that kinda thing. I love the way their photos turned out. We also did some photos with the book because we used that during her maternity photos when Paxton was still in the belly. Soo cute! Wouldn’t it be adorable to keep this tradition going, and someday when Paxton has a child, he could do the same thing! The book was actually Joey’s as a child. I love stuff like that!!

I can not believe how big Logan has gotten!! It seems like I was just shooting Kathryn and Jason’s wedding yesterday! Thanks for letting me continue to document your special moments. You guys look great, and it was so wonderful to spend some time with you again. Hope to see you at a tailgate soon! xoxo

THE SPARKS FAMILY

Amanda is one of my best friends, and I’ve known her for many, many moons now. The journey of best friends is such a prized possession when a friendship has lasted over half of your life. It has been a true joy to watch her on her career path, getting married, and having a family. Her husband is hilarious, he cracks me up. I always say he reminds me of Chandler on Friends. And her two little girls are two of my precious angels, as I like to call the children in my life. Morgan and Riley are complete opposites, but wonderful and beautiful in their own rite. I’ve of course been photographing them since they were babies. They live in Kentucky though, so it’s actually upsetting that I don’t get to take all of their photos anymore. When I can though, I jump at the opportunity. Doug and I were both up in Kentucky for some weddings in August, and an engagement party for us — so we thought it would be a great time to get an updated family portrait for Amanda. Actually, they were moving into their new house, and I had called dibs on their first family portrait for the new home months before. Since then, Ryan actually was offered an amazing job in Atlanta that was just too good to pass up. So…. now I hope when they find their next new home to be able to help decorate the walls with their photos from this day. I think with Doug and I both on the scene we were able to get some great shots for them. I was able to entertain the kids while Doug shot. It was a great pairing! :) Looking forward to seeing these on your walls soon!! Love you guys!
THE YOST FAMILY

While in Kentucky in August for a wedding in the Yost family, I was able to photograph one of the other families for a birthday present for their dad. Their family is growing, and they wanted to have photos for their parents to cherish on their walls. I just recently shipped the parents two large wall portraits that they were absolutely thrilled with! Everyone was so excited about the session when I arrived — it went just perfectly!! Thanks for letting me spend the morning with you guys; it was truly a pleasure!!
