LYNDSEY’S MATERNITY SESSION

Lyndsey and Harry have been like our Arte De Vie poster children — only now they really are having a baby themselves! Harry used to work with us — so during the process of their wedding we photographed everything.  We did an engagement session with them, and bridals and boudoir with Lyndsey, and of course the wedding.  Now we’re on the chapter two in the Graham’s lives, and we’ve photographed the maternity session, and the newborn session!  Yes, those will be posted soon.  Thanks for letting us continue to document your journey!  Enjoy! 

BRANDI’S MATERNITY SESSION

I love Brandi to pieces!!  We first became friends when they lived in our condo building.  They have since moved Uptown to their new home they just built.  The move was already in the works before she found out they were expecting.  The house is incredible — and it was so neat to take these photos there as they get started on the next chapter in their lives.  I can’t wait to meet their pretty princess!! Love y’all!

 

KRISTINE’S MATERNITY SESSION

Kristine always has us cracking up!  Her outlook on pregnancy was very pragmatic and hilarious to hear her talk about it.  I’m a little late posting these photos, as Paxton is now 10 months old, and I actually just added some family photos for them on the family page.  You’ll notice the book in both sets of photos.  It was Joey’s as a child.  I just love this idea!  Doug actually came up with it while we shooting the maternity session, that we should use the book again later after Paxton was born.  Love it!  Kristine used these photos for her Christmas card last year, and she said she still gets compliments on it.  We’re hoping that this year’s card can top last year’s card!  We’ll see soon enough!

STEPHANIE’S MATERNITY SESSION

Stephanie and her husband Cody are so adorable!  She called me a couple of months before they’d be returning from Japan to set up maternity photos.  Her family is here, so she was able to have a baby shower while home, but after their visit it was off to the east coast for Cody’s next station.  We almost didn’t get to do the session because Stephanie wasn’t showing too much when she first got back to Nola, but they laughingly told me that her belly popped out in the two weeks she didn’t see Cody because he was surprised when he got here.  She had a lot of wonderful ideas she had bookmarked from Pinterest and such, so we tried to do as many of those as we could during the session.  I love the simplicity of the images, and the candidness they impose.  I love their idea with the books, and both of their bellies — too cute!!  Thanks for letting me document the first step in your journey to meeting your beautiful baby girl!  Hopefully it will work out to do her baptism photos too.  Enjoy!
