Hello! Thank you so much for visiting our site and taking the time to connect with us and our work! If you’ve come to this page before the rest of the site, please grab a cocktail or a glass of your favorite wine (unless you’re at work, but if you pull it off there, we won’t judge!) and take your time viewing the images and weddings that we are so passionate about capturing. We started our journey in love just over 15 years ago when we met at Western Kentucky University in the Photojournalism program, and have been connected at the hip ever since then. Our own wedding was in April of 2012, and our wedding photos from the very talented Stacy Reeves are images that we constantly look back on and are so incredibly thankful and happy to have.

As romantics at heart, we really strive to capture a romantic and timeless look in all of our photographs. We think when you look at your images now, or 20 years from now, they should evoke a sense of romance, real life, real love and who you are at this stage of your relationship. We also recognize all the details that went into making our wedding unique to us, and we know that you are working just as hard to make your wedding day be a reflection of you and your fiancee, so you can rely on us to capture those details as story-telling elements on your wedding day. Our style as New Orleans wedding photographers can best be described as Classically Modern.

As documentary wedding photographers in New Orleans for the last 10 years, we’ve become experts in working with couples to learn how they want their wedding day to flow and look, and we can help achieve that with minimal stress on the wedding day.

Connection is very important to us.  The connection between us, connection with you, and a connection with our art form.  We’d love to connect with you soon!  Click on our photos below to learn more about us.

  • Mardi Gras and Funky Tucks
    Mardi Gras
We love riding in the Krewe of Tucks so much, that Doug's groom's cake was an exact replica, almost 4' long, of the float we ride on - The Funky Tucks! If you ever come to Mardi Gras, let us know so we can throw you something special!
  • Italian Shoes
    An Italian Affair
Doug's love affair with shoes started when he purchased his first pair of hand-made Italian shoes to wear for our wedding. He now has a new appreciation for the love a woman has for her shoe collection!
  • Food brings us together
    Culinary Musings
Inspired by the movie "100 Foot Journey," Doug enrolled in culinary school in 2014 to pursue his passion of cooking as a serious hobby. In a city rich with great cuisine, it's food that often brings us together with friends and family.
  • Beaune, France
Wine a Little..... or a lot!
We love wine! So much so that we did a wine registry for our wedding at Keife & Co. Some of our fondest memories are riding bikes together through the vineyards of Burgundy.
  • Family and Friends are our heart
    Friends & Family - It's What Matters!
It's friends & family that are the true measure of your life's worth - and we are blessed to consider ourselves rich in that category. We have a photo display in our kitchen that features whoever is visiting with us at the time!
  • Best time of the Year
    The Happiest Season of All!
CheyAnne is a self-professed Christmas freak! We've taken out a storage unit just to hold the growing collection of decorations!
  • Pets are family too
    Our Furry Family
We are the proud parents of three furry four-legged babies! L to R- Toulouse is our wonderful Whippet. Bienville is our fearless (and deaf) feline. Decatur is our scaredy cat. All wonderful and so unique in their own way, they provide loads of laughs and fun.
  • Books equal knowledge
    Book Worm
When CheyAnne isn't waiting at the kitchen bar for a great meal, she can be found curled up with a good book. She loves challenging business and leadership books, and likes to relax with books about Sean Payton and Drew Brees!
  • Vince Vaughn is awesome
    Show Time = Cuddle Time
When not enjoying great food and friends, our favorite way to relax is to cuddle up with a cocktail and a good movie!
  • Big Ben, London
    It's A Small World
As visual people, we love getting out and experiencing the world together! Our favorite places so far are Scotland, Paris and Burgundy (when not at the beach:). We've been lucky enough to visit 10 countries and are looking forward to many more!
  • New Orleans Saints Drew Brees
    Who Dat!
After a hard weekend of weddings, we love unwinding on Sunday by tailgating and cheering on our World Champion Saints! Can't wait for the next SuperBowl Parade in Nola!
  • Best day ever
