I obviously have a love of weddings, but I also have an extreme love of the holidays, and Christmas especially. When it becomes possible to mix these things with just the right amount of wedding and Christmas, my heart dances! I was thrilled when I discussed a couple of the photo locations with Alyse and she agreed that she liked the Christmas wreaths decorating the outside of The Roosevelt. Sometimes I have couples that are married in December that wish to keep out the holiday decor, but again, I love when they include it in some of the photos. The images below with the wreath with Alyse and her bridesmaids, and Alyse in her fur shawl are some of my favorites from the day! I think you will agree once you see them.
We are very familiar with an Immaculate Conception and The Roosevelt Hotel wedding combination, as we’ve photographed that combination many times. It’s always a pretty relaxed day since everything happens in close proximity. Alyse and Tommy’s day proved to be the same, we were actually ahead of schedule at one point, so they had time to take a breather before the party started. We had a wonderful time spending the day with them and their families. Their reception was a ton of fun, I don’t think the dance floor was ever empty! Bucktown Allstars did a fantastic job of keeping everyone out of their seats and feet on the dance floor. Thank you for trusting us with your memories! Enjoy!
