The Ritz Carlton | New Orleans Wedding | Bethany & Chris

June 17, 2015

When I think of the Ritz Carlton in New Orleans, I think of style, class, and a superb customer experience.  A wedding venue should be reflective of the couple getting married there.  Bethany and Chris looked beyond stylish and classy on their wedding day!  And Bethany has been so thankful throughout the whole wedding journey with us.  I’ve loved working with them because I knew the entire time that they had full confidence in me and the photos I would deliver.  That vote of confidence really helps to ease the pressure, and allow me to ultimately be more creative.

I couldn’t take my eyes off of Bethany on the wedding day!  I was estactic to learn that she had a Pnina Tornai gown.  As many of us women have, I used to binge watch Say Yes to the Dress, so this was really neat to have a bride with a Pnina gown.  It was one of the most unique dresses I’ve seen.  I just loved the detail and the fit of the dress.  If you missed her bridal session, it was posted a few days ago, you can view it here.  Chris also looked great, and he definitely had his casual swagger on the wedding day. Together they are a very handsome pair.

The ceremony was at Sacred Heart, which was where Bethany went to school.  It was so special to be able to take their photo in the courtyard by the fountain, and under the archway at the main gates, knowing that the photo will join the ranks of her other historic photos taken throughout her life in the same locations.  I love traditions, and I have a fond appreciation of history.  It was an honor to be able to take those photos.

The reception was a wonderful party, as I expected it to be.  The music started, and people hit the dance floor.  I’m not sure it was ever empty, Mojeaux kept them dancing until the end of the night.  Young and old alike were out there living it up.  I enjoyed watching the families dance and have a great time.  Bethany’s mom was even picked up and thrown around a relative’s shoulders.  I was nervous for her, but her face and the photos were hysterical!  Thank you for letting me be a part of y’alls celebration!  Enjoy!
