To have a New Orleans wedding at Felicity is to get the best of so many worlds in one location. And while Alex & Jesse live in Denver, they met in New Orleans and knew that they had to return for a New Orleans destination wedding. The wonderful thing about a wedding at Felicity, aside from their wonderful staff, is the convenience and versatility of the space and the ability to have your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all at one location. No need to stress about logistics and getting everyone from one location to another. How do they manage such a transformation you ask? Enter the classic New Orleans wedding tradition of the 2nd Line parade! Escorted through the streets of the Garden District under the canopy of the neighborhood’s majestic oaks, One Shot Brass Band had the guests dancing all the way while Alex & Jesse rocked custom made umbrellas from Bella Umbrella.
In terms of overall decor and style for Alex & Jesse, the backdrop was several oversized Italian cypress trees, a lush ground arbour, created by Antigua Floral, and three oversized chandeliers from Luminous Events. Combined they took this space to the next level and really brought the garden feel indoors. Luxury linens for both cocktail hour and the reception were provided by BBJ La Tavola .
