St. Anthony of Padua Cathedral and The Pavilion of Two Sisters | New Orleans Wedding | Stephanie and Jared

Stephanie and Jared, along with their parents, threw one heck of a party at The Pavilion of Two Sisters at New Orleans City Park!  I always scroll through the photos before I begin writing so that I can collect my thoughts.  If we’ve done our job correctly — many parts of the day come flooding back to me.  The set of gorgeous images and moments is no different!  They make me smile in fact.

When we got to the bridal suite, preparations were in full swing, and with 10 bridesmaids there is never a dull moment!  I absolutely loved Stephanie’s bridal prep attire — Adorable!  (I forget where you said it was from Stephanie…)  Once Stephanie was dressed and ready, she shared a special moment with her parents before heading to the courtyard at The Windsor Court for some group photos.  From there the group traveled to St. Anthony of Padua on Canal Street for the ceremony.  It’s been awhile since we have been to this cathedral, but I love the architecture at this particular one.  Jared’s Godfather assisted in marrying the pair, making it even more meaningful.  As the two burst out the back doors of the cathedral at the end of the ceremony, they pretty much set the tone for the rest of the evening!  The streetcar trolley shuttled them over to City Park to the reception at the Pavilion of Two Sisters.  This was one of those evenings that took no time at all to get started.  With Bucktown Allstars at the helm though, a good party is always in store!  The trust fall that Stephanie did into Jared’s brother’s laps for the garter removal was hysterical!  I adore the moment of her in the circle of people having the time of her life, and Jared’s hot dog hat was cracking me up!  There’s no doubt that the two of you had a wonderful time.  I’m always thrilled to see a couple truly get to enjoy their time at their reception, surrounded by those they love the most.  Thank you, thank you for allowing us to be on this journey with you guys.  It’s been wonderful getting to know both of you, and your families!  Enjoy!
