Marceline and Jonathan recently moved in to their first house here in New Orleans after returning from New York, and thought it would be the perfect place to start their New Orleans engagement shoot. I don’t think they anticipated just how perfect it would be though! The second we saw their front porch and the decorated door, we knew that would be the first shot but we didn’t know the colors of her dress would match it almost perfectly! Once we saw their backyard area, we almost considered just doing the whole shoot there! Perfect artificial turf, just perfectly covered in a thick layer of fall colored leaves with the morning sun beaming over the textured brick wall – it was as if the whole area was styled for a magazine shoot. The shoot wrapped up in the historic New Orleans French Quarter. We really enjoyed spending the morning with this great couple and got some great tips for our upcoming trip to New York. Looking forward to their wedding in March!
