New Orleans Wedding | Taylor & Michael | Il Mercato

wedding champagne tower at il mercato in new orleans

Our part in this New Orleans wedding at Il Mercato, which was beautifully planned and designed by New Orleans wedding planner Blue Gardenia Events, started with a wedding in France! We’re so glad we had a chance to meet Taylor & Michael at a wedding we were photographing in Annecy, France, and that it resulted...

Destination Wedding | Bodrum, Turkey | Villa Macakizi

    destination wedding in bodrum

This was my first trip ever to a destination wedding in Turkey, and I must say it will be difficult to top! Due to a partial non-disclosure agreement I can’t say too much about the wedding and the people in particular, but I do want to talk a bit about the images and the event...

New Orleans Wedding | Felicity Church | Alex & Jesse

sparkler exit for wedding at felicity church in new orleans

To have a New Orleans wedding at Felicity is to get the best of so many worlds in one location. And while Alex & Jesse live in Denver, they met in New Orleans and knew that they had to return for a New Orleans destination wedding. The wonderful thing about a wedding at Felicity, aside...

Best Venues for a Destination Wedding in the French Riviera

Crystal-clear turquoise waters. An unlimited supply of locally bottled Rosé. A view of the setting sun against the backdrop of the Mediterranean and mega-yachts. French cuisine showcasing the freshest delicacies the sea can provide. Sun-kissed produce cooked with hints of honey and lavender from nearby Provence. A selection of 5-star hotels perched above seaside cliffs...

I like France, and the French Riviera in particular! There are so many beautiful venues there so it took 8 months for us to pick the one. Le Mas de la Rose and Bastide du Roy are gorgeous! We were choosing btw them, but have decided to opt for the latter one. French Riviera is a dreamy place to get married. I think everyone could find the venue there based on their budget. Can’t wait to marry my best friend there!ReplyCancel

Best Venues for a Destination Wedding in Provence

Provence…synonymous with Rosé and lavender. Fields of the aromatic purple flower extend for as far as the eye can see. What people forget is the lavender fields are usually complemented by equally majestic, never-ending fields of towering sunflowers. All of which is constantly being tended to by millions of bees which are some of the...

Tuscany Wedding | Villa Medicea di Lilliano | Aislinn & Jon

bride and groom walking at medicea di lilliano in tuscany

Tuscany weddings hold a very special place in our hearts. This destination wedding at Villa Medicea di Lilliano was no different. The hospitality of the Italians is something to admire and their love of food, wine and celebrating is only matched by the French. (and of course our people back in New Orleans:) Aislinn & Jon...

French Chateau Wedding | Chateau de Vallery | Samara & Martin

bride and groom photo at chateau de vallery

This is a story about our first French chateau wedding that I’ve loved to tell ever since we moved from New Orleans to Paris.  Our dog, Toulouse, booked this wedding for us! That’s right, our very first French chateau wedding in Burgundy, France with the amazing French wedding planners Fete In France, was all because...

But now that we’ve expanded to Paris we’re excited about what we’ve experienced so far and the locations we’ve been lucky enough to photograph!  This is one of four labors...
